| Biography/History note | Established on Jan. 1, 1998 by the amalgamation of the following municipalities to form one new municipality, the Municipality of Chatham-Kent: the County of Kent, and the municipalities which comprised it, being the City of Chatham; the towns of Blenheim, Bothwell, Dresden, Ridgetown, Tilbury and Wallaceburg ; the villages of Erie Beach, Erieau, Highgate, Thamesville and Wheatley ; and the townships of Camden, Chatham, Dover, Harwich, Howard, Orford, Raleigh, Romney, Tilbury East and Zone.
