Biography/History noteStudebaker Corporation was formed in 1911 by a merger of Studebaker Brothers Manufacturing Co. and Everett-Metzger-Flanders Co. Its business and assets purchased by Packard Motor Car Company to form Studebaker-Packard Corporation in 1954. Studebaker-Packard Corporation reverted its name to Studebaker Corporation in 1962, and dissolved in 1967.
