Biography/History note | Warner Bros. Pictures was a motion picture production and distribution company. After the demise of Warner's Features in 1915, the Warners did continue to exhibit, and began to produce films. They moved their base of operations to California, started film production in 1918, and built a studio in 1919, but did not incorporate as Warner Bros. Pictures until 1923. Warner Bros. Pictures was renamed Warner Bros.-Seven Arts Limited in 1967. |
