German Wikipedia, viewed October 13, 2021 (Raymond Klibansky, CC [member of the Order of Canada]; Latinate form of name: Raymundus Klibansky; born October 15, 1905, in Paris; died August 5, 2005, in Montréal; European-Canadian philosopher; he was well known for his editions of works by Meister Eckhart and Nicholas of Cusa; he grew up in Paris and moved with his family to Frankfurt am Main at the outbreak of World War I; he obtained his doctorate at Heidelberg in 1931; in 1933, he emigrated to London; in 1946, he took up a professorship at McGill University in Montréal; his best-known work was Saturn and melancholy (1964), which he co-authored with Erwin Panofsky and Fritz Saxl)
