Wikipedia, May 15, 2018: Geroge Ade (George Ade (February 9, 1866-May 16, 1944) was an American writer, newspaper columnist, and playwright; born in Kentland, Indiana. Attending Purdue University, he graduated in 1887. In 1890 Ade joined the Chicago Morning News. After twelve years in Chicago, he built a home near the town of Brook, Indiana. George Ade died in Brook, Indiana, aged 78) Golden age of Indiana literature (The Golden Age of Indiana Literature is a period between 1880 and 1920, when many nationally and internationally acclaimed literary works were created by natives of the state of Indiana.
