Aprile; debuted in Naples in 1781 (under the name Signor Ochelli); joined the Theater in the Hofburg in Vienna in 1783; on May 1, 1786 sang in their premiere of Le Nozze di Figaro in the roles of Basilio and Don Curzio under the baton of Mozart himself; in 1787 he went to London where he worked first at the Drury Lane Theater, then at the King's Theater; between 1802 and 1811, he worked as an independent theater entrepreneur in Dublin, but this business collapsed; temporarily ran a wine tavern and, like his father, a wine shop, but left Dublin in October 1811; a prolific composer from 1789, also published a significant memoir in 1826 (Reminiscenses)) |
