Special note	The Legislature of Québec Province was until 1968 composed of two Chambers: the Legislative Council and the Legislative Assembly. In that year the Council was abolished and the Legislative Assembly was renamed the National Assembly. In 1974 the English name was replaced by its French equivalent: Assemblée nationale.
