Email from A. Rudrum, Oct. 17, 2001 (As you know, the DNB is now being revised, publication expected 2004. I am the author of the entry on Henry Vaughan in the New DNB; Henry Vaughan's birthdate is given [in the current DNB] as 1622. It should be 1621. This error goes back, I believe, to the original DNB but was corrected by F.E.Hutchinson (Henry Vaughan: A Life and Interpretation) as long ago as 1947)
