Found in	NLC, 3/20/81 (AACR 2: Université de Moncton) World of learn., 1987 (Université de Moncton; Moncton, NB; f. 1864 as St. Joseph's University [no publs. in LC data base]; changed name 1963; lang. of instruction, French; private) Website, Université de Moncton, Collège Saint-Joseph and Chronologie historique pages, viewed on March 7, 2023 (Collège Saint-Joseph opened October 10, 1864. An amendment to the charter of Collège Saint-Joseph changed its name to Université du Collège Saint-Joseph, on March 18, 1898. In 1963, following the report of the Royal Commission on Higher Education in New Brunswick, Saint Joseph's University relinquished its university prerogatives, reverted to its college title and became affiliated with the new Université de Moncton. In 1965, the entire staff of the Collège was transferred to the campus of the Université de Moncton. Finally, in 1972, Collège Saint-Joseph ceased to exist and its teaching was assumed by the Faculty of Arts of the Université de Moncton)
