The fifteenth-century printing practices of Johann Zainer, Ulm, 1473-1478, 2016: pages 7-8 (Johann Zainer, son of Johann Zainer, printed his first edition in Ulm in 1496; listed as a printer in Ulm's archives in 1518; his last edition was printed in 1522; he died in early 1541)

Der Frühdruck im deutschen Südwesten, 1473-1500, 1979: page 15 (Johannes Zainer der Jüngere) page 22 (son Johannes named as one of Johann Zainer the elder's six children in the Ulm's Bürgerrecht in 1481) page 38 (Ulm's tax book from 1499 confirms that only the younger Hans Zainer was in Ulm) page 40 (between 1518 and 1519, younger Zainer named as printer in Ulm sources; in 1523 he was listed as a bookseller; in November 1539 listed as holding a position in Ulm's chancery; the younger Zainer must have already died by early 1541 as there is a note "An statt Hannsen Zainers selig angestellt" )
