Biography/History noteFirst National Pictures, Inc. (1924-1936) was an American motion picture production and distribution company. The company was previously known as Associated First National Pictures, Inc., which was renamed in 1924. In 1928 First National Pictures was purchased by Warner Bros., and was dissolved in 1936. However, most Warner Bros. films continued to include the name First National from 1941 to 1958.
