Scholderer, Victor. "The Virtutum vitiorumque exempla of Nicolaus Hanapus," in Fifty essays in fifteenth- and sixteenth-century bibliography, 1966, pages 140-143: pages 141-143 (text with title Distinctiones exemplorum, previously considered version C of Hanapus' Virtutum vitiorumque exempla, has now found to be identical with Aureum Bibliae repertorium (Repertorium aureum, Biblia aurea) of Bindo de Senis (Bindus Guerri Senenis). Bindo's work was "frequently printed in the early period under the name of Antonius de Rampigollis, an Augustinian of Genoa, who worked about the middle of the fourteenth century," because a prologue to Rampigollis' Figurae Biblia, or Compendium morale, containing his name as "Frater Anthonius Rampigollis," was mistakenly prefixed to the editio princeps of the Repertorium aureum; prologue had been previously published giving author's name as "Frater N. de Ianua"; "N." stands for "nomen," "in the usual medieval way")
