LC manual auth cd. (hdg.: Trienter codices; approved as popular name for the manuscripts by Mr. Strunk, Mr. Haykin; the volumes of music known as the Trienter codices were compiled in the fifteenth century, probably for the library of the Duomo at Trent, where six of them were found and described about 1885. These six volumes (Cod. 87-92) were bought in 1891 by the Austrian Ministerium für Cultus und Unterricht, and were deposited in the Hofbibliothek (now the Nationalbibliothek) at Vienna. In 1920, under the terms of the Treaty of St. Germain, they were returned to Trent. The seventh codex (Codex tridentius 93) was found in the archives of the Duomo at Trent in 1920)
