Biography/History noteParamount Pictures Corporation was a motion picture distribution company. Established in 1914 by W. W. Hodkinson, the company was acquired by Famous Players-Lasky Corporation in 1917. In 1927 it was merged with Famous Players-Lasky and reorganized as the Paramount Famous Lasky Corporation.
