The Porvoo churches website, viewed Nov. 4, 2014 (Porvoo Communion; communion of Anglican and Lutheran churches, mostly in Northern Europe, that signed an agreement to "share a common life in mission and service," although the churches maintain their respective identities. There is no leader, but each church sends a contact person for Porvoo to an annual mtg, and two bishops, one from each denomination, serve as co-moderators of the Provoo Contact group. The churches that signed the agreement are The Evangelical-Lutheran Churches of Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Lithuania, Norway, and Sweden and the Anglican churches: Church of England, Church of Ireland, Church in Wales, and the Scottish Episcopal Church. Two churches from South Europe also belong to the Porvoo Communion: the Lusitanian Church in Portugal and the Reformed Episcopal Church of Spain)
