Wikipedia, August 4, 2015 (Roger Legras; born b. May 3, 1924 year at Le Havre, died September 2, 2013 in Paris; translator of Polish literature into French, and Russian. He studied literature and philosophy at the Sorbonne in Paris and Slavonic studies at the Ecole des Langues Orientales. He was a teacher of French at the University of St. Petersburg and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He was an active promoter of Polish literature, and co-organizer of many events promoting Polish culture in France)
