Washington place names, via WWW, October 24, 2014 (Hazel. Coordinates: 48.27652+N,121.8021+W. This community is east of Arlington near the North Fork of the Stillaguamish River in north central Snohomish County. It was once the site of important logging and milling industries. An early name was Packard for Clayton Packard, a timber man. When the town was platted and named by Peter D. McMartin in 1903, he used the name of his first child.)
