Mertz Library at The New York Botanical Garden, where she oversees an outstanding collection of print and non-print resources. She plays a pivotal role in the Garden's digitization program, as well as the exhibition program in the William D. Rondina and Giovanni Foroni LoFaro Gallery. She received her MLS from Columbia University. She is an active member of the Council of Botanical and Horticultural Libraries (CBHL), is on the Executive Committee of the Biodiversity Heritage Library (BHL), and also serves on the Council of the Torrey Botanical Society as the Society's Historian. Her publications include "Henry Hurd Rusby: The Father of Economic Botany at The New York Botanical Garden," in Brittonia 44,3 (1992); "Botanical Information: Resource and User Needs," in Science and Technology Libraries 21,3-4 (2003); "A Treasury of Botanical Knowledge: The LuEsther T. Mertz Library," in The New York Botanical Garden, edited by Gregory Long and Anne Skillion (Abrams, 2006); and "The Genius of Georg Ehret: His Art and Influence," in The Botanical Artist (2009).)
