Biography/History noteSt. Donatus, a village in Tete des Morts Township, Jackson County, Iowa, was founded by Luxembourg immigrants around 1850. It is noteworthy for its historic mid-19th century Luxembourg-style buildings and church and for its Luxembourg-American community.
