He participated in the 1900 and 1910 censuses, in the publishing, editing and analysis of the material. Statistical preparation and advocacy of electoral reform. From 1920 he was the correspondent member of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, from 1929 until 1936, KSH President. Politically-targeted, manipulated statistical compilations, including The Struggle of Jews in Hungary (1922) and the Csonk Hungarian Jewry in the mirror of statistics (1938) significantly contributed to the spread of racist and anti-Semitic ideologies in Hungary and the birth of Jewish laws. Because of its far-right political activity, the People's Court sentenced him to five years' imprisonment and total confiscation in 1948. His punishment was later reduced to two years, released in April 1950. He lived in complete retirement in his last years.)
