Wikipedia, viewed August 17, 2023: (Lelio Falconieri was an Italian Catholic Cardinal; born in Florence in 1585; studied law at the University of Perugia and then earned a doctorate in civil and canon law at the University of Pisa; went to Rome, where he became an advocate at the Roman Curia; later became the governor of San Severino, a referendary of the Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura; governor of Spoleto; vice-governor of Benevento, and governor of the Campagne and Maritime Province; elected Titular Archbishop of Thebes in 1634; between 1635 and 1637 papal nuncio at Flanders; made a cardinal in 1643; died at Viterbo on 14 December 1648)
