Biography/History noteConstantine Hering was born in Oschatz, Saxony. In 1826 he received his diploma as Doctor of Medicine, Surgery, and Obstetrics from Wurzburg. He went to Philadelphia in 1833, and in 1835 he helped establish Hahnemann Medical College.
