Wikipedia, February 25, 2019: (Bronisław Zaleski, born 1819 or 1820 in Raczkiewicze (Minsk region), Polish and Belarusian political activist, a writer and a publisher. He was arrested in connection with Polish pro-independence activities and exiled to Chernihiv (1838-1848), and then to Orenburg (Russia) and Kazakhstan (1849-1856). After leaving the Russian Empire in the early 1860s on pretext of vacation, he lived in Dresden, Rome and Paris. Zaleski directed the Polish library in Paris, was a leader in several benevolent societies; died January 2, 1880 in Menton, France)
