Attended St. Joseph's Academy in Bardstown, Ky, 1832-1833 then moved in 1835 to Springfield, Ill. Returned to Louisville in 1842 where he lived for the rest of his life. Went into a real estate partnership with his brother-in-law, William Henning. Died May 29, 1882 in Louisville.)
