A history of medieval Spain, c1975: p. 197 (A sizable French army, together with Catalan and Aragonese contingents, under the leadership of Guillaume de Montreuil, Robert Crespin of Normandy, Duke William VIII of Aquitaine, and Count Armengol III of Urgel, captured Barbastro in August 1064, after a siege of 40 days, placing the city under the sovereignty of Sancho I of Aragon. The following year al-Muqtadir of Zaragoza recovered possession of the city.)
