Label on page [2] of cover reads: "Wu ching lei yü by Liang Yü-ch'iao. This manuscript, a "Dictionary of classified phrases in the Five Classics," was compiled in the sixteenth century. It was once in the library of Prince Kuo (Kuo Ch'in Wang), seventh son of the Emperor Yongzheng, and younger brother of Emperor Ch'ien-lung. The transcription, made with the Chinese brush in the most painstaking manner, in imitation of the printed page, is so perfectly executed that only a conniossuer [sic] could detect the difference."

雍正元年(1723)胤禮封為果郡王, 即果親王.
框18.5 x 12公分, 9行20字, 雙行小字, 白口, 四周雙邊, 單黑魚尾, 版心上鐫書名, 中鐫卷次.
原題：「古岡梁宇喬纂述鼎山施宗誼訂閱，繡谷吳氏泰重較」。宇喬宗誼事蹟並無攷，卷內有：「果親王府圖籍」，「自得居士」果宴王讀本」等印記。按清史稿卷二百二十六列傳七果親毅王允禮為聖祖第十七子雍正元年封果邵王，無子卒後以世宗第六子弘瞻為後。弘瞻善詩詞，雅好藏書，與怡府明善堂相埒，然則第三印當釋為「果邵王讀本」，猶是允禮舊藏者。故卷內避康熙諱，而不避雍乾諱。全書分修齊平治兩門，修齊門有六十二子目平治門八十七子目。又有雜著拾遺為卷第八。觀此頗疑梁宇喬施宗誼吳民泰並是。果親王府教師為，此有目的之著作，冀可為王讀本也。此本書寫極工，疑出吳民泰手。原書無序跋.
