According to the card in the M/B/RS Paper Print catalog, the paper roll was measured for footage.
According to the AFI catalog, this film probably includes all or parts of multiple films taking during the tour of the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York through Canada in 1901. They arrived in Québec on September 16, 1901, and departed on September 18, 1901, arriving in Montréal the same day. They departed Montréal, on September 20, 1901. According to Pope's The tour of Their Royal Highnesses the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York..., the Prince and Princess returned to Montréal on their way to New Brunswick. On October 16, 1901, they participated in a ceremony to commemorate the reconstruction of the Victoria Jubilee Bridge. This film may contain footage of that event.
Paper print shelf number (LC 1999) was changed when the paper prints were re-housed.
