3 v. : maps ; 30 cm. The maps are process printed with red and black ink. Chen Zilong wrote the introduction in 1638 and the preface in 1643. The three-volume work composed of maps with detailed texts was compiled by Wu Guofu of the Ming dynasty, based on a work done by Shen Dingzhi. The maps are executed in chromatography in red and black. There are two prefaces: one by Wu Guofu, dated 1638, and another by Chen Zilong, dated 1643. World Digital Library. Ten lines, with twenty-four characters per line; small characters in paired lines of twenty-four characters per line. 崇禎戊寅吳國輔"今古輿地圖序"言刻書事. 崇禎癸未陳子龍"今古輿地圖序". 明吳國輔撰。國輔字期主，山陰人。是書因父執沈定之舊稿纂輯而成，錢曾讀書敏求記，四庫全書存目著錄本並不詳撰人，卷數亦不相同，然實為一書，此本為圖凡六十，以墨作今，以朱表古。攷舊唐書賈耽傳：「撰古今郡國縣道四夷述四十卷，其古郡國題以墨，今州縣題以朱，今古殊文，執習簡易」，其法正相同，惟古今朱墨互易耳。清李兆洛楊守敬並題今地以朱色，蓋師耽意。然用朱墨套版刊印地圖，前此似未見，則此亦有足珍者！至其內容，十七八本偽蘇軾指掌圖。卷內有「載齡鑑賞」、「餘慶堂家藏印」。陳子龍(序)崇禎十六年 (1643)，自序 崇禎十一年 (1638). 框25.2 x 16.1公分, 白口, 四周單邊, 單黑魚尾. 版心上鐫書名, 中鐫卷次. 著者據吳國輔"序".
