Summary
- A filmed performance without commentary, of a hill tribe from southern India with particular emphasis on their music and songs. Most of the songs are work related such as ploughing, shepherding, working in the quarry. Other songs are lullabies, laments and on marriage as a subject. The film does not use a commentary or voice over. The rhythms of the music overlap with the rhythms of daily life.
