Satirical print mocking the young mistress of King Louis XV, Jeanne du Barry. Likely printed in the first year of their relationship as part of a campaign lampooning "la belle Bourbonnoise" in pamphlets, songs, plays, and operas. (Source: Jeanne du Barry: Alfabetdame ontmaskered, by Diedrik van der Wal, 2023) The print shows a nude female figure forming the letters of the alphabet. Considered the earliest known example of an exclusively female nude alphabet.
