Fifteen-frame comic strip. Fearless Fosdick faces the criminal Bomb-Face, but just as Fosdick is about to explode, he sends Bomb-Face out the window to destroy his gang of friends. Li'l Abner reads the strip, relieved that his favorite detective has survived another unusual escapade. The strip includes a frame of "Advice fo' Chillun," about saving fats and scrap metals for the war effort.
