An elderly widower takes lodgings at a seaside boarding house owned by a widow and her daughter. Attracted to the widow, but self-conscious about his thinning hair, the widower writes a letter to inquire about a hair restoring tonic. He hides the response, and the widow thinks he is corresponding with another woman. She decides to make him jealous by framing a magazine photo of another man. One day, at the beach, the widow and widower are both marooned on a rock by the rising tide. The widow steals a look at the letter and realizes her mistake. After they are rescued, they return to the boarding house, where the she lovingly rubs the hair tonic onto his head. Restricted: video files available on-site only. Access by appointment.
