Sketches show Civil War scenes, a panoramic view of a military camp with many tents at Williamsport, Maryland, inscribed at top left is "as far again", at left center "repeat", and on the right "the same distance again", and at bottom right center "1863"; on verso is a landscape with arched bridge spanning the West Branch of the Susquehanna River labeled "Williamsport 1863"; on the other half of the verso is a bird's-eye view of tents on the outskirts of Williamsport, with a church at center background, this drawing labeled "Williamsport 1863 our camp", also inscribed at top center is "The other sheet".
