Four-panel comic strip is one of a series in which Albert Alligator and Churchy La Femme, the turtle, try to write a love ballad for Deacon Mushrat to further his courtship of Miz Boombah. In this strip, Churchy asks if his poem "overcomes Miz Boombah ... who's she gonna wanna marry? ... Him or me? Him as the givee or me as the participee?" Albert is disappointed in the poem which reads, "All the way from Maine to Texas I cover you with all types X's .. Get in an' Fight, team, Reckety Rexxes!" and says, "Undoubtally she'll marry whomsoever is innocent."
