Cartoon shows a circus wagon (labeled "Taft Band Wagon") carrying a brass band soaring into the sky attached to a star labeled "Texas Delegate Grab Methods." Reflects the dispute between the Robert A. Taft and Dwight D. Eisenhower forces over which delegation from Texas to seat at the 1952 Republican presidential nominating convention. The cartoonist sides with the Eisenhower forces.
