  <abstract type="Subject">Print shows George Washington, half-length portrait, seated, facing right, wearing military uniform; he is holding his sword with his right arm, which is resting on the arm of a chair, and is holding a paper in his right hand; a hat rests on a table on the right and through a part in the drapery, or the opening of his tent, is seen a military encampment. At bottom center, amidst the title, is an eagle with striped shield and banner "E. Pluribus Unum", and holding in its talons an olive branch and three arrows; rays of light eminate from above and clouds form the base.</abstract>
