Photograph shows unidentified Japanese American women and a boy walking past Hogetsu Sushi restaurant on Little Tokyo's East 2nd Street, which was forced to close before Japanese Americans were incarcerated at concentration camps during World War II. Many Japanese Americans temporarily or permanently lost their property and the majority of Japantowns were destroyed as a result of Executive Order 9066.
