The dataset includes transcriptions and data generated from the pages in the By the People campaign Anna E. Dickinson Papers (https://crowd.loc.gov/campaigns/anna-e-dickinson-papers/). The campaign consisted of a selection of then-available online images of digitized content from the Anna E. Dickinson Papers digital collection (http://hdl.loc.gov/loc.mss/collmss.ms000081). The transcription campaign included all series of the collection except for the Miscellany and Addition series. The transcribed papers of lecturer, reformer, actress, and author Anna Elizabeth Dickinson (1842-1932) are chiefly concentrated in materials from 1859 to 1911, which include family correspondence, general correspondence, speeches and writings, and a legal file.
