In her interview, sculptor, furniture designer and mosaicist Beatriz Mayorca recalls memories of her youth and her beginnings in art and shares why she loves the media she chooses for her pieces. She explains how engineering and architecture are big parts of her art process, and describes how the beauty of her Venezuela homeland inspires her creations.
