Lance Arnold is a second-generation funeral service professional who serves as the Vice President and CFO of Arnold Family Funeral Services, Inc. - Hillside Chapel in Altadena, California. In this interview, Mr. Arnold, a millennial who has been involved in the funeral industry since the age of nine, discusses the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on funeral service restrictions, uniform adjustments due to outdoor services, service to families beyond their typical demographic, growth in the use of livestreaming technology, the psychological impact of the pandemic, and the limited guidance from health and government officials.
