Dancers posed wearing ceremonial dress, which includes wolf masks and elaborate headdress; one image appears to show dancers in motion. Furs and hides surround the dancers and cover the floors. Nunivak "princess" wearing ear and nose jewelry. Also includes images of Inuit hunters in kayaks in the Bering Sea and a portrait of arctic explorer Knud Rasmussen and Inuit "members of the expedition," probably the Fifth Thule Expedition (1921-1924).
Title devised. Dancers possibly photographed at Ukivok (King Island), where other Lomen Bros. images were taken (see LOT 10557).
