Subjects are mostly Crow men, including Chief Deaf Bull, White Swan, Cut Ear, Chief Plenty-Coos (i.e. Coups), Geronimo, and many others. Other subjects are men and women from tribes including Southern and Northern Cheyenne, Arapaho, Apache, Sioux (Dakota), Brulé Sioux (Brulé), Nez Percé, Navajo, Moqui (i.e. Hopi), Kiowa, and Columbia (Sinkiuse-Columbia).
No known restrictions on publication.
Title devised. Sitters and tribes identified in paintings.
LOT includes 29 duplicates, but in varying conditions.
