Broadside, on recto, shows full-length figure of a man pointing left toward the first word in the title, "suicidio." The text conveys the suicide poisoning of two young girls in Chapultepec Park. The girls, who were friends, killed themselves after discovering they were being courted by the same man. Another text, in verse, titled "Farewell to Maria Fuentes and Guadalupe Ortiz" begins on the recto and continues on the verso. The text, in first person, conveys the anguish both women feel of being in love with the same man and how they see death as the only alternative to their grief. The verso illustration is a skull and crossbones.
