Encyc. of Ukraine: v. 2, p. 637-8 (Kotsylovsky, Yosafat [Kocylovs'kyj, Josafat] (secular name: Yosyf), b. 03 March 1876 in Pakoshivka, Sianik County, Galicia, d. 17 Nov. 1947. Uniate bishop, he was appointed Bishop of Peremyshl in 1917. Arrested by Polish authorities and handed over to the Soviets in 1945, he was briefly released but was rearrested in 1946 and sent to a Siberian concentration camp where he died)
