German Wikipedia, May 27, 2014: "Martinus-Bibliothek" (Martinus-Bibliothek; Latin name: Bibliotheca Sancti Martini Moguntina; previously: Bibliothek des Bischöflichen Priesterseminars; located in the Arnsburger Hof in the Altstadt section of Mainz; established Nov. 8, 1662 by Elector-Prince Bishop Johann Philipp von Schönborn as the library of the Mainz seminary (Mainzer Priesterseminar), and so the oldest library in Mainz; dissolved by the French in 1804, re-established in 1805; reorganized 1968 as the diocesan library (Diözesanbibliothek) and relocated to its own building in the Arnsburger Hof in the Grebenstrasse; since Jan. 1, 2000 the previous Bibliothek des Bischöflichen Priesterseminars bears the name of St. Martin, patron saint of the diocese)
