Batu kán pesti rokonai, 2001: page 347 (Ármin Vámbéry; world-famous Hungarian orientalist, linguist, and writer, whose Travels in Central Asia (London, 1864) was later translated into Hungarian and many other languages. He was associated with isaac Chagatay (1844-1892), a native Uzbek speaker, who served as his "living language reference." They were often referred to as "Vámbéry and his Tartar." He researched the origins of the Hungarian language and was proficient in Muslim customs and Oriental languages.)
