Fr.wikipedia, French Wikipedia, December 8, 2016: (Sacha Guitry was a prolific French stage and screen director, playwright, screenwriter, and actor; born February 21, 1885, in Saint Petersburg, Russia, son of the well-known French actor Lucien Guitry; died July 24, 1957, in Paris, France; full name Alexandre Georges Pierre Guitry; began his theatrical career as a playwright in Paris in 1902 and as a theater actor in 1904, and did some experimental work in film, 1910-1917, but did not really begin to be interested in film until the 1930s, when he decided to adapt some of his plays to the screen; also published essays, memoirs, history and other books)
