In 1920 it absorbed the Korporation der Kaufmannschaft von Berlin (founded in 1820). The name Handelskammer zu Berlin was changed in 1924 to Industrie- und Handelskammer zu Berlin. In 1933 it absorbed the Industrie- und Handelskammer Brandenburg (founded in 1898). It was absorbed by the newly created Gauwirtschaftskammer Berlin in 1942 |
