In 1900 founded the Petersburg Relgious Philosophical Society with Dmitriĭ Merezhkovskiĭ, Zinaida Gippius, and Nikolaĭ Minskiĭ; Rozanov left the group in 1911 because of philosophical differences. His ideas were often controversial, unorthodox, focused on the fulfillment of the individual)
