The Chronicle of Pseudo-Zachariah Rhetor, 2011: p. 3 (Zacharias, Bishop of Mytilene, also known as Zacharias Rhetor or Zacharias Scholasticus; church historian; b. in Maiuma, the harbor city of Gaza, in the late 460's; was active in Alexandria and Constantinople; attended a synod in Constantinople in 536, where he is described as Bishop of Mytilene on the island of Lesbos; not attested after 536; died before 553, when a new bishop of Mytilene attended the Second Council of Constantinople; was later confused with Pseudo-Zachariah Rhetor, who wrote a chronicle in Syriac that drew heavily on Zacharia's own Historia ecclesiastica)
